I have Z370 Taichi, up and running with i3-8100 placeholder for now, 8700k due in tomorrow. I had two m.2 issues with this so far, both solved! First issue was that there is a bit of slop between the socket and the screw mount when the drive is installed Maybe 2mm or so, not sure if this is the board or the Plextor drive's fault, but when I first started it up, the drive was not there.

High Density Glass Fabric PCB
High Density Glass Fabric PCB design that reduces the gaps between the PCB layers to protect the motherboard against electrical shorts caused by humidity.
ELNA Audio Caps
Who says high quality audio is only available on high-end motherboards? ASRock applied ELNA audio capacitors on mainstream and entry-level motherboards! Compared with traditional solid caps, the leakage current of ELNA audio caps is merely 3uA. This is the key to reduce noise level significantly and satisfy even the pickiest audiophiles.
Digi Power
Unlike traditional motherboards that use analog power, this motherboard uses a next generation digital PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) design, which provides CPU Vcore voltage more efficiently and smoothly, so that the stability and lifespan of the motherboard is greatly enhanced.

Ownership: more than 1 year
over a year and still running great4/2/2019 5:10:21 PM
Pros: setup was easy, from what I can remember I had no problems hooking up anything. Installed windows 7 on it fine before I switched to windows 10.
Cons: none that I can think of
Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: This is your basic well featured but not high end mobo. I usually buy ASUS ROG mobos so my expectations are pretty high. The Asrock mobo so far is working fine but they definitely skimp on the hardware and other 'do-dads' that you get with the high end ROG stuff.
Cons: The manual is the absolute pits!
Other Thoughts: No complaints. I was looking to save a little $$$ on this build since I am going to use it as a basic Win10 machine. It supports the high end Coffee Lake I7 cpus, 64 Gb DDR4, a good video card and so on so the mobo certainly has the features I needed.
Pros: * capable of 64GB
* 2 M.2 NVMe
* 2 M.2 NVMe
Cons: BIOS not straight forward and no real manual.
Wi-Fi capable but MB doesn't include the M.2 wifi module.

Other Thoughts: Definitely a solid board.
But still running in to snags on setting up M.2 storage in RAID ( Lucked out that I found an ASRock video for a different board that gave some clues.)

Worked good at first but beware poor build quality!11/22/2018 3:59:30 PM
Pros: none
Cons: Bad build quality. Had to remove GPU, unlocked video card, and the plastic housing around PCIE wires lifted up with card to the point I can not get it back on. Plastic housing is not firmly attached to the board. Be very careful when removing video card.
Other Thoughts: Never received rebate either. First and probably last time using this company. Let see how they handle warranty.

Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: Nice looking board... seems well built.
Cons: But..... it didn't work properly right out of the box. Sending back on Monday.
Other Thoughts: I generally like ASRock products but this board showed up with either a defective PCI controller or a defective Network Adapter. Tried several tricks suggested to me by my brother who is a pro PC Tech and nothing worked. Defective parts happen... just sucks that now this weekend build might end up being a 2+ week build. Definitely feel like Newegg should have offered to overnight a new board to me... but they made no such offer.

Device worked great for 4 months8/16/2018 9:14:05 AM
Pros: This motherboard was great for the 4 months it actually worked.
Cons: Might make your system unusable without warning.

Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Worked well for a while. See cons.
Cons: Until approximately 4 months of ownership, everything worked normally, and I was really happy with the board. Unfortunately, a subtle change occured at 4 months or so, and I have been having occurrences where my computer will simply lock up, and refuse to turn on until I unplug it for an hour or so.
I have validated all other components, so I'm not sure if this is a chip issue on the board, but the issue has been occurring more and more, leaving me without a computer for hours per week (and I occasionally remote work, thus making it impossible for me to do my job from home).

Other Thoughts: I am writing this from my phone, as currently this motherboard refuses to boot. Buyer beware. I haven't gotten great responses from tech support, so I'm probably just going to get a new board from any other company.
